If you look at other D`s on the page -ie Dec, you will see he makes his capital D like this. e may be r (I think), but Dracon gets no hits in other cencus records. There is a Matthew Deacon in Man in 1906 that fits him, so a better option, I think. (note added by: manderson123ster@gmail.com)
