On line 40, the value for the givens field is "Flora", the suggested correction is "Cora". The following comment was attached: Why would they right down Flora when her real name was Cora May. Don't I know my own family?
This correction was evaluated by Debbie James: I have checked the image of the original form and am very sure that the suggested correction does not reflect the original. This comment was added: I believe that you know your own family, but we are supposed to transcribe what is on the form. Who knows why Flora was written down. Perhaps the census taker did not hear the name correctly.
